Need to make that webpage splashy or add some visuals to a seemingly monotonous page; below are some jQuery effects plugins that will help you add some visuals to your site.
TurnJS: Make a flip book with HTML5
Turn.js is a plugin for jQuery that adds a beautiful transition similar to real pages in a book or magazine. It works in all modern browsers including touch devices. You can add pages dynamically and display single and double pages.
ClassyCountdown is a jQuery plugin that allows you to easily create clean circular countdowns. It is fully customizable and includes 12 themes, which can be modified and it uses HTML5 canvas for rendering the circles.
jQuery Burn is a plugin which adds a flame-like effect to text using multiple text-shadows, animated by repeatedly changing their horizontal offsets. Note that theeffect can be somewhat CPU intensive (especially for older computers), so use it sparingly. It can be stopped and restarted dynamically, colored, stretched, offset, sped up and slowed down. It uses the css text-shadow property hence will not work in older versions of IE.
splitflap display (airport-like)
Letter Drop is a jQuery plugin for a CSS based rain like animation effect for typography. The plugin takes the text string within the defined element as input & splits each letter out adding a random time delay to each character from 1.0 to 1.9 secondss before dropping & rotating the letters down like droplets of rain. Just like rain, it’s different every time.
jQuery Scroll Path is a plugin that lets you define your own custom scroll path. The plugin uses canvas flavored syntax for drawing paths, using the methods moveTo, lineTo and arc. To help with getting the path right, a canvas overlay with the path can be enabled when initializing the plugin. The plugin also allows rotating the entire page, using CSS transforms. This can be done either along a path, or around the current position. In browsers without CSS transform support, all rotations are ignored, but paths are still followed. This means the plugin works with graceful degradation in all browsers.
